En un racó de Roma...// A roman spot in Seoul...

L'altre dia anava jo cap al Lotte World (sí, aquell parc d'atraccions del qual se suposa que estic fent un post que no acaba d'arribar...) i com qui no vol la cosa em vaig fixar en una petita font que hi havia per allà.

As you know, some days ago I went to Lotte World (yes, that amusement park... I suddently remembered I'm suposed to be writting a post about it...I don't know why it's taking sooo long) and  coincidentally I found a little fountain "hidden" over there.

Pel que hagueu estat a Roma...o per tots en general, és una còpia (amb algunes diferències) de la Fontana di Trevi!!!! Tothom que ha visitat aquest indret ha llançat alguna monedeta a la font, per poder tornar a la ciutat ben aviat oi? (Jo ho vaig fer i hi vaig tornar en menys d'uny any...així que llavors no en vaig llançar cap més perquè tampoc calia anar-hi tant sovint). Es veu que totes aquestes monedes van suposadament a parar a càritas, però que recentment s'ha descobert que una màfia se les recull cada matí i se les queda, amb el beneplàcit d'algunes autoritats locals...  sense comentaris. Almenys la corrupció no és només cosa d'Espanya.

 Those of you who have been to Rome will quickly know that this is a copy (with some differences) of the Trevi Fountain! A traditional legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they will return to Rome soon (I threw a coin the first timeI went there and returned after 10 months, so I didn't throw a coin again...it was not necessary to return that often). Hundreds of visitors throw coins every day, and all this money is suposed to be destined to charity. The thing is that it was recently discovered that there's some local mafia is collecting the coins every morning, with the consent of some paid-off local authorities...No comments.

La posició a la capital coreana no és exactament la mateixa que a Roma, allà situada ben majestuosament enmig d'una plaça minúscula:

The location of this fountain in the korean capital is not similar to the italian real version, in a tiny square:

Doncs sí gent, està just a dins de l'estació del metro, i no és precisament petita (tampoc diria a tamany real, però no m'imagino res com això a l'estació de Plaça del centre). (Siguem francs, tampoc m'ho imagino a Plaça Catalunya, i per molt nova que sigui, tampoc a La Sagrega). El cas és que queda molt bé, i això demostra que els coreans tenen molt d'estil. He provat d'imaginar la versió-plaça-del-centre i no m'ha acabat de convèncer:

It's inside the metro station indeed! And it's not precisely small (also not full size, but I don't imagine something like this in any Barcelona metro station), so my conclusion is that koreans are really stylish. Take the Trevi fountain and put it in any Barcelona metro station and the result will be like this:

Ni la meitat de guay eh? Però per si el mini post d'avui us ha semblat curtet, us proposo que juguem a les set diferències (encara que no tinc molt clar quantes diferències hi ha, així que comenteu a veure quantes n'heu trobat!!!).

Not even half the cool the korean version is. A pitty. But I already know Spain is not well-known for being specially stylish. It's time to say goodbye, but just for in case you think that today's post was really short, let's play the differences game! (Actually I don't known how many of them there are, so comment how many did you find!)
