MINI-POST: How to survive while driving in Korea // Com conduir a Corea i no morir en l'intent

Sembla ser que Itàlia i Corea tenen moltes semblances: els dos països estan en una península, els dos tenen una fontana di Trevi i els dos tenen els pitjors conductors que he vist mai. Si heu conduït mai per Itàlia sabreu perquè heu de llogar un cotxe allà enlloc de portar els vostre propi cotxe des de Catalunya. Per la mateixa raó  jo tampoc m'he portat el meu cotxe a Corea (bé, més o menys la mateixa raó).

It seems that Italy and Korea have many similarities: both countries are located in a peninsula, both countries have a "Trevi Fountain", and both coutries have the worst drivers I've seen in my life. If you've ever driven in Rome you will know why you have to rent a car there instead of bringing your own car. For the same reason I didn't bring my car to Korea (well, more or less the same reason). 

Els cotxe t'adelanten per tot arreu, se't creuen sense avisar i acceleren o frenen a plaer. Els carrers estan plens de cotxes mal aparcats, i en molts llocs no hi ha voreres i la gent està caminant per allà al mig. I millor no parlem de les motos: aquest és un país amb una gran qualitat de servei, i això inclou una immensa quantitat de restaurants que ofereixen portar-te el menjar a domicili, i que fa que estigui tot ple de repartidors suicides. Amb aquest panorama, si no estàs molt segur de les teves habilitats al volant (totalment diferents de les habilitats que necessites a Catalunya per conduir, creïeu-me), el millor que pots fer és quedar-te a casa. O fer com aquesta gent:

Cars overtaking you from every side, cutting into your lane without prior notice or accelerating and slowing down anytime they want. The streets are full of ilegally-parked cars, and usually also full of people walking anywhere. And better not talk about motorcycles. Korea is a country well-known for very nice service, so most of the restaurants offer delivery service. For these reason streets are crowded with suicidal deliverymen. In this scenario it doesn't look like a good idea to drive if you are not sure about your driving skills (and trust me, the driving skills you need in Spain are much different than the skills you need in Korea), and if this is the case you'd better stay home. Or do like these people:

El ninotet està suplicant tenir "una conducció segura avui també". I en aquest següent la pota de gos i el volant són part de les lletres, i tot plegat vol dir "conductor novell".
That doll is asking for a "safe driving also today". And in the following one, the dog's paw has also meaning, and the wheel is part of the letters. It means begginer driver.

És graciós oi? Trobo que queda molt millor una enganxina demanat clemència que un Toro. Bé qualsevol cosa queda millor que un Toro, no és una gran comparació. Però és una manera original de dir clarament "no responc dels meus actes si te'm creues de cop". M'agrada!

Kind of cute right? Much better than all other stickers I've seen in my life, specially some stickers about a "Bull" that were kind of stupid fashion in Spain. And it's a nice way of saying "I will not take responsability of my acts if you cut in front of me suddently". Like it!
